Installation :
Sterlomaxx is designed keeping in mind the ease of operation. Installation procedure is very easy. It is provided with a hariger dip which should be mounted on a wall with two screws, provided with the machine. All you have to do is to switch it on after the above procedure & Sterlomaxx starts giving you sterile air instantly.
Cleaning Procedure :
As Sterlomaxx is a filtration based system, it requires periodical cleaning to operate efficiently.
Recommended cleaning period is after every 6 months. Although, this period may vary depending on various factors, like quality of air inside the room, traffic in the room, usage etc.
Cleaning of Sterlotnaxx is also very easy & requires no skilled personnel to do it. All the filters are
made cassette type that makes removal & replacement very convenient.
Precaution should be taken during cleaning as not to touch the electronic circuit area of Sterlomaxx For convenience in cleaning, filters & electronics port are separated properly.
All the filters have a life of at least 2 years. E.S.P. has a very long lifted needs no replacement. |

2 x Five Stage of Filtration. |

After switching on, Sterlomaxx starts sucking in the air from the top perforated area at a speed of 160 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) & that air is processed through the five stages of filtration. Air that comes out is thus free from all micro-organisms, particles A moisture. At the output of Sterlomaxx air is 100% sterile
Working of each filter:
1. Pre Filter : It is a 5 Micron filter to trap bigger sized particles, mainly dust. This filter stops dust particles from entering the machine.
2. E.S.P. OR Electro Static Precipitator : This is the heart of Sterlomaxx. E.S.P. is made up of 7 pairs of plates (14 plates) one of which is held at a very hive voltage,& the other one is kept at zero volts. Thus a very heavy electrostatic force is generated. When air passes through E.S.P.
• the particles gets charged & attracted towards the Zero plate. They are precipitated there.
• When microorganisms enter this region, they are attracted on the Zero plate A electrocuted with a very high voltage.
• When C02 (in air) comes in this region, due to high electrostatic force, Carbon is split from Oxygen A deposited on the Zero plate & Oxygen is released free. Thus enriching the air with more Oxygen.

3. Ultra Violet Tubes : There are two Nos. of germicidal 9rade (256 nanometer) Ultra Violet tubes in Sterlomaxx. These U.V. tubes kill all Micro-Organisms leftover in E.S.P. It also ensures the inside of Sterlomaxx remains sterile all the time. U.V. radiation is completely sealed inside Sterlomaxx. No radiation comes out of the machine.
4. Activated Carbon Filter : In the first three Filters, air is made completely sterile. Activated. Carbon 'is a very good adsorbent of moisture. When air passes though, it adsorbs moisture to a large extent hence reducing the growth of fungus. which is very harmful. It also removes foul smell Is, bad odors 4 from the air, making a pleasant atmosphere.
5. HEPA OR High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance Filter : This is a 0.3 micron filter. As the name suggests this is a very efficient filter in trapping smallest of the micro-organisms. There are no microorganisms smaller than 0.5 micron size.
Strlomaxx thus ensures 100 % sterilization of air. It also enriches air with oxygen & makes it pleasant by removing bad odors from it. |
